quaint, fairly clean hotel with friendly attentive personnel on the reception desk. the rooms were reasonably large and normal double and the full english breakfast was gorgeous. lovely views of the park and a comfortable design. good and absolutely perfect location in the dog friendly area, so close to churchill restaurant, christmas market, and the nearby conference centre. nearby hales bar - great place to chill out.

The hotel exuded charm with its historic ambiance and the spacious rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was a challenge, and there were some minor inconveniences like squeaky floorboards. The friendly service and excellent dining.

Characterful base for a wedding celebration in Harrogate. Impressive units with coffee, pleasant employees. Unbeatable and incredible location, good area. Very easy to get from Leeds Bradford airport, just 25 km. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

I last stayed in this old hotel some 62 years ago with my parents and it has not lost its charm and character. Brings back many memories.
A few stairs to climb to certain bedrooms, not nice when you have a lot of luggage

Good Spot with Cozy Vibes
We enjoyed our stay, great location right in the heart of things! Our room was nice and comfy, but the decor felt a bit dated. The breakfast had a fab fruit selection, though the hot options weren't the best. Super nice team, but we had to pay for parking, a bit of a bummer.

Beautiful traditional hotel. A courteous reception. Quiet but central location.
Room in need of renovation (crack in wall, headboard of bed had ugly notch). Breakfast staff could be friendlier. Cleaning staff came much too early when I was still brushing my teeth at 9:10!

Very central location, nice 'old place' with a lot of history and charm, the breakfast was extensive in a very nice atmosphere
The dead spider stuck to the wall and there was a web in the corners, although otherwise, it was very clean! Separate taps for cold and hot water!

We got an upgrade to an executive room which was super spacious and had a comfy bed. Also. Breakfast was hot and tasty and the location was perfect for checkin out harrogate. Thumbs up for the lovely vibe at the hotel!
The bathroom was a bit outdated and the pillows were too hard for my taste. Parking is a bit of a hassle if you don't book ahead.
